Guiding Principles


As a condition of participation in MSU CAMP program, participants are expected to abide by the guiding principles:

  • I will take responsibility for my actions.


  • I will not blame others.


  • I am responsible for myself.


  • I will avoid negative and destructive external factors, distractions, and excuses that influence my decisions.


  • There is always room for improvement.


  • I will counteract negative consequences.


  • I will be concerned about myself.

  • MSU CAMP is a safe haven of respect and thoughtfulness.


  • I will block out society's negative voice.


  • I understand that MSU CAMP "Believes in ME"


  • Nothing in life is for free.


  • I understand that nobody owes me anything in life.

MSU CAMP Mission: To assist migrant and/or seasonal farmworker students in their transition to University life. The College Assistance Migrant Program at MSU provides supportive and retention services to college students from migrant and seasonal farmworker families.
