Guiding Principles
As a condition of participation in MSU CAMP program, participants are expected to abide by the guiding principles:
- I will take responsibility for my actions.
- I will not blame others.
- I am responsible for myself.
- I will avoid negative and destructive external factors, distractions, and excuses that influence my decisions.
- There is always room for improvement.
- I will counteract negative consequences.
- I will be concerned about myself.
- I will push myself to do the best that I possibly can.
- MSU CAMP is a safe haven of respect and thoughtfulness.
- I will block out society's negative voice.
- I understand that MSU CAMP "Believes in ME"
- Nothing in life is for free.
- I understand that nobody owes me anything in life.
- I will dare to dream.
- I have self-determination.
- I am dedicated.
To provide migrant students preparation toward completion of their General Educational Development (GED) as well as the development of academic, vocational, and personal skills necessary for higher education and career exploration.
