Services
All MUS HEP participants are provided the following services:
- GED preparation and classroom instruction
- Academic and vocational counseling
- Tutors to assist in reviewing, explaining, and studying course material
- Meals are provided and are served in a MSU dining hall
- On-campus housing
- Introduction to the support staff and university system at Michigan State University
- Career Advising
- Post-HEP Assistance
- Instructional materials and student supplies
- Weekly stipend
All services provided at no charge to participants.
To provide migrant students preparation toward completion of their General Educational Development (GED) as well as the development of academic, vocational, and personal skills necessary for higher education and career exploration.
