The CAMP program assists migrant and/or seasonal farm worker students in their transition to University life by providing support and retention services to college students from migrant and seasonal farm worker families. The HEP program provides assistance to migrant students preparation toward completion of their General Educational Development (GED) as well as the development of academic, vocational, and personal skills necessary for higher education and career exploration.
This endowment provides financial support for Migrant and/or Seasonal Farm Workers who are successful students in either the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) or the High School Equivalency Program (HEP). Awards may be used for tuition, room and board, textbooks, essential testing costs and emergency travel. Students must have completed one full year of full-time study at MSU, be full-time students, financial need and show academic achievement.
