All applicants are required to complete the NMSI application before being considered for support services.

Online orientation by NMSI Initiative may be required, in addition to professional development workshops.

Student Requirements:

  • Good academic standing in a recognized partnering program. 
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Complete application packet must be submitted by the student @ (NMSI@vps.msu.edu)
  • Professional Development Workshops will be required.

  • Biographical Essay of 500 words or less, addressing (migrant experience & academic journey)

All applicants will be notified via email when their application has been received and when approved.

Employers will make the final selection and any offers will be made directly from Employers to the applicant.
