This internship is beneficial to me because I'm learning effective marketing strategies, gaining experience within my major, get to expand my professional network and make meaningful connections in the marketing field.

Eric Martinez, Internship site: Chelan Fresh (marketing intern)

Receiving support from NMSI has allowed me to actively participate in my internship which in return will give me skills to apply towards graduate school. I do not have to pick up a second job to support my living expenses this summer and for that, I am so thankful!

Katherine Martinez, Internship site: Student Research Intern with the Jewell and Arline Moss Settle Herbarium

NMSI’s support assuaged any worries I (and my parents) had and allowed me to fully focus on this wonderful opportunity I was given. My Human Resources internship has allowed me to gain further insight on a department I was curious about and for that, I am very appreciative!

Brenda Lopez, Internship site: CoBank (Human Resource intern)
